Home Alarms
The presence of a house alarm box on the outside of you premises is a visible deterrent to burglars, but the variety of home alarms available can make choosing a burglar alarm system confusing. At EuroTech (Derby), we have been helping people choose the right home alarms for many years.
Once you've decided which type of burglar alarm system is most appropriate to your needs, we'll supply and install your home alarm systems, making sure it works properly. We'll also help you operate your home alarm, after all, what use is a burglar alarm system if you don't know how to use it.

Types of burglar alarm systems
The first thing to decide is whether or not your burglar alarm system will be police linked. Police linked home alarms are monitored by a private central station 24 hours a day. When activated the burglar alarm system automatically informs the monitoring station, which then notifies the police on a dedicated line. This type of home alarm is suitable for isolated buildings, or where you would prefer not to rely on the assistance of neighbours.
An audible only home alarm will be cheaper in the long term, but relies on the good will of your neighbours. Thieves may be scared off by the noise of the home alarm.
A common problem with both types of burglar alarm systems is the occurance of false alarms which result in a lack of credibility. Police may withdraw reponses to your burglar alarm system, and neighbours may choose to ignore an audible alarm.
